About the Authors
Angelo & TJ Haygood
Angelo and TJ Haygood have been married for more than 43 years, since their senior year at North Carolina A&T State University. They have built a life together after over a dozen military moves from Delaware to California and Michigan to Texas, in addition to a three-year assignment in the UK. Their marriage has triumphed over tragedies and highly questionable moments — and they want to help you weather those storms too.
Their journey has not been without challenges. Through seasons of struggle, growth, disappointment, forgiveness, joy, and triumph, they have discovered that a strong marriage is not simply something couples find — it is something they intentionally build.
Their real-life experiences, deep faith in God, and hard-won wisdom form the foundation of everything they share. As authors, speakers, and marriage encouragers, they share one central mission: to help couples build stronger and healthier God-centered marriages that can help others to do the same.
